Since quitting my full time job with the India Today Group in November 2013, I have built an independent career as a writer and editor. I have worked extensively in the development sector – nutrition, environment, education – in various content and advocacy roles, apart from taking on book projects, editing assignments and continuing a bit of feature journalism.
As of 2019, I have been Content & Advocacy Lead for IMPAct4Nutrition, a public-private engagement platform to tackle India’s malnutrition crises initiated by UNICEF India, Sight and Life, Tata Trusts and a host of other reputable names. It has won two awards so far, the latest one, AVPN Constellations award for social change in Health & Wellbeing category, announced in July 2021.
