In the first pandemic year, I worked with Tata Trusts and Sight and Life Foundation on the Take Home Rations Compendium that was published towards the end of the summer of 2020. It included a series of reports on India’s supplementary nutrition programme that feeds millions of disadvantaged people across the country.
This Compendium is a review of the Take-Home Rations programme that falls within the SNP, with case studies and expert opinions on how we could possibly make it more effective. I edited every piece in this 50,000 word publication (sometimes more than once) to make sure it is easily understood by the layperson, the casual reader like myself, with a basic interest in all subjects but especially in the development and progress of our country.
